Private Instruction

We at Aikido of Cincinnati are incredibly fortunate to have so many high ranking instructors regularly teaching classes.  We are also fortunate to have numerous classes offered every day of the week, and all classes are taught by black belts, under the direct supervision of McGinnis Sensei and Mehter Shihan.

For a variety of reasons, though, students from time to time would like some instruction on a more personal basis.  These reasons include scheduling conflicts, test preparation, or to merely try to gain a deeper understanding of Aikido in general or a technique in particular.

To facilitate the opportunity for this type of instruction, the AoC Board of Directors has established guidelines and costs for those seeking personal training.  At this time, all personal training for 6th Kyus and above will be led those with ranks of Sandan or higher.  More details on this program are provided in AoC's YahooGroup Messages (#1619).

It is the responsibility of the student(s) and instructor to arrange for the timing of the instruction.  The instructor and student(s) should schedule it so as not to conflict with regularly scheduled classes.  Costs can be split by a number of students.  Ideally, up to four students could go in together, sharing the cost and allowing for direct instruction to just two pairs of students.

Please contact Pat Patton at treasurer@aikidocincy.com if you have any questions about this opportunity.
